Help Chico Fly
Preparing for Takeoff
The City of Chico is working to make Chico fly! Help Chico Fly is a community-wide effort to bring back passenger air service to Chico Regional Airport (CIC). Please support the incentive program and show the airlines how successful a new flight would be.
Now is the Time
The City of Chico has been working for years to restore airline service at CIC, and recently won a federal grant to help entice an airline to come to Chico. But one grant isn’t enough. Chico is competing with every airport in the country for an airline’s attention and commitment. Air service is expensive to start and maintain, and cities need to minimize airline risk and help prove a market will be successful.
Now is the time to build on the grant and develop a larger incentive package, reassuring the airlines that the community will Choose Chico when they fly.
